PROJECT 2A

Week 2
After watching the original Lalin video, we were tasked with editing a 35-second version of it. Mr. Martin provided all the necessary materials for us to use in the editing process.

then I have started to arrange the clips, sound effects and graphic

Week 7

This week, Mr. Martin assigned us to do color grading and color correction for the Lalin video.

PROJECT 2B

For this project, we are recreating scenes from Everything Everywhere All At Once. Mr. Martin divided our class into two groups for the shooting, and I was assigned to Group 2. Each of us got to choose our own roles within the crew, and I decided to be the audio recorder.

Shooting
I really enjoyed the process of shooting in a group—it was a completely new experience for me. Working with the lighting and audio equipment was especially interesting, and I learned a lot. We also had a lot of fun throughout the process, which made it even more memorable.

Editing

After finishing all the shooting, our group director organized the selected clips and sound files in our shared Google Drive. I downloaded the materials and imported them into my laptop and Adobe Premiere Pro. We were tasked with using these clips to create a trailer.

I arranged the clips and sound that I felt were necessary and added text to provide context and information for the trailer.

Then, I adjusted the color correction, applied color grading, and refined the effects to enhance the visual style.

Final Outcome

Reflection

Project 2 was a new and exciting experience for me, especially working as part of a film crew. I took on the role of boom operator during the shoot, which gave me insight into audio recording on set. I enjoyed working with the group, learning about the equipment, and seeing how each role contributes to the final product. After filming, I downloaded the selected clips and sounds, then edited them into a trailer using Adobe Premiere Pro. I arranged the footage, added text, applied color correction and grading, and used effects to enhance the mood. This project helped me improve both my technical editing skills and my understanding of production teamwork.
